Sets and programs

Sets exchange cards a player already owns for a reward, and programs run for a fixed stretch with their own challenges and collectibles. Which sets are live, what each one takes, and what it returns change through the year. This page carries no card's price and settles no set's remaining requirements.

What MUTher has verified from EA and from sources that agree: - There will be a Team of The Year Player Item option for Gridiron Tokens with details coming later this year. What players are reporting — MUTher hasn't checked these against EA yet: - (reported) Season 2 Field Pass reward players start at 82 OVR and go to 87, upgraded with collectibles bought in the Store for Season Tickets. (effective 2026-09-12) - (reported) The Season 2 Field Pass has 50 levels of content earned by playing MUT.

- (reported) The Breakouts program focuses on emerging contributors and awards Badges to upgrade players and unlock Evolutions. - (reported) The Unstoppables program celebrates dominant players with extra challenges to complete. - (reported) Tug of War is an efficient way to grind toward Game Time rewards because matches are faster.

- (reported) You can claim one of two Game Time players and upgrade that card through gameplay. - (reported) Season 2 adds the Game Time program built around explosive-play players.
