MUTher is in beta — we're still working out kinks. The Chrome extension, MUTher Link, is on the Chrome Web Store.

Getting started

MUTher reads your real Madden NFL 27 Ultimate Team binder and tells you what to do with it. Four steps to get there, and only one of them takes any thought.

MUTher is in beta. Things may break, and features may change as we keep building it.

1. Make an account

Open MUTher and sign up with an email address and a password. That is the whole account: one per person, and you must be at least 13 years old to have one.

MUTher Link is a small Chrome extension. It exists for one job — handing your EA sign-in back to MUTher once — and it holds no permission on any website, not EA's and not MUTher's.

Add it from the Chrome Web Store: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cclimkjihdkafcbjodonkekhecnbjima. Click Add to Chrome, then pin MUTher Link from Chrome's Extensions menu so its popup is one click away. Chrome keeps it up to date from there. (The Extension page has the same button, and, for developers, the steps for loading an unpacked build.)

What it asks for, in Chrome's own words: temporary extension storage, and permission to notice when a tab navigates to the sign-in callback address on your own computer. No site access. No EA site. No browsing history.

MUTher hands MUTher Link a one-time pairing code — twelve characters, good for ten minutes, shown as XXXX-XXXX-XXXX with the clock running down beside it. The extension redeems that code and opens EA's sign-in page in a new tab.

Sign in on EA's site. Your EA password is typed on EA's own website and nowhere else. MUTher never sees it, and MUTher Link never reads it or stores an EA token.

When EA sends you back, the extension relays the one-time authorization code to MUTher and Settings shows Linked, with your persona, your platform and the date. If MUTher Link does not answer — a different browser, or it is not installed in this profile — press Generate pairing code and paste the code into the extension popup under Have a pairing code? instead. The code is single-use: generating a new one cancels the old one.

4. Your first sync

Linking hands you straight to My Team and starts the first sync for you. After that, the Sync button is in the header, on My Team and on Binder.

A sync reads your binder, your depth chart, your chemistry and your wallet from EA. It only ever reads: MUTher never buys, sells, lists or quicksells anything on your account.

What you will see

  • My Team — your depth chart, drawn with the real card art, split into Offense, Defense, Special Teams and Specialists, with your team OVR and the Chemistry panel under it.
  • Binder — every card you own, searchable.
  • Markers on your cards — the coach runs after your first sync and marks cards Start / replace, Upgrade / Evo, Auction candidate, Keep or Needs review, each with the reason. See The coach.
  • Insights — the full report, the Activity feed of what changed between syncs, and the chat box for asking the coach a question.
  • Market — sold prices, asking prices, and what a card is actually worth.

Where to go next

  • Syncing — how often, what it reads, and what "Since your last sync" means.
  • The coach — what the markers mean and what MUTher can and cannot see.
  • Troubleshooting — if any of the four steps above did not finish.

This is MUTher's own documentation. For how Madden 27 Ultimate Team itself works — Evolutions, chemistry, sets, the Auction House — see the Madden 27 pages, which are compiled from public sources and carry them.
